Oxshott is a wealthy village in Surrey's commuter belt, surrounded by heathland and woods, with large houses on private estates and some of the best-known schools in the county close by. It is also well placed for Heathrow, just a few minutes from the A3 and M25. A taxi from Oxshott KT22 to Heathrow Airport costs from £59 for a saloon, fixed at booking, collected from your door and taken to any terminal.
The route
From Oxshott, the driver usually takes the A244 to the A3 at Esher, or heads south to the M25 at junction 10, then clockwise round to junction 14 for Terminals 2, 3 and 4, or junction 14 or 15 for Terminal 5. Another option is north through Esher and Hampton Court and across to the A312 and Hatton Cross. It is around 18 miles.
In normal traffic, it takes 30 to 35 minutes. The M25 junction 10 interchange at Wisley, where the A3 crosses, is notoriously congested, and the A3 at Esher can be slow at peak times. For early flights, the roads are clear.
Around Oxshott and KT22
KT22 covers Oxshott village and the High Street around the station, the private estates such as Crown Estate and the Fairmile, and the roads through Oxshott Heath. The postcode also includes Leatherhead, Fetcham, Cobham's eastern edge and Stoke d'Abernon. Many homes in Oxshott are on private roads with gates or security. Give us the gate code or entry arrangements when you book, and the driver will come to the door to load the luggage.
Golf, schools and estates
The area is known for its golf clubs, schools and big houses. Golfers flying out often take clubs; choose an estate or MPV, and mention them when you book. Many families with children at Reed's School, ACS Cobham, Danes Hill or the other local schools fly in and out of Heathrow at the start and end of term. Give us the school name or boarding house for school runs.
Train or taxi?
Oxshott station is on the South Western Railway line between Guildford and Waterloo. There is no direct train to Heathrow. The quickest public transport is a train to Surbiton or Woking and the RailAir coach from Woking, or into London and the Elizabeth line. Either way, it takes an hour and a quarter or more with changes. For most people, the car is much simpler.
Heathrow terminals
Heathrow has four working terminals in three places: 2 and 3 in the centre, 5 at the western end with its own road from the M25, and 4 on the southern side. Tell us your terminal when you book so the driver takes the right junction.
Heathrow's drop-off charges
Since January 2026, every entry to a Heathrow terminal drop-off zone has cost £7, with a strict ten-minute limit enforced by cameras. Overstaying brings an £80 penalty notice, halved if paid within 14 days. If someone drives you, the free option is the Long Stay car park, with 30 minutes free and a shuttle bus. Our fixed fare already includes it, so there is nothing to pay at the kerb.
Executive cars
For business travel or a more comfortable ride, our executive saloon, Mercedes S-Class and fully electric BMW i7 come with experienced chauffeurs. The Mercedes V-Class suits families and small groups who want to travel together in comfort.
Coming home
The same fixed fare applies from Heathrow to Oxshott. Your driver tracks your flight, waits in arrivals with a name board and helps with your bags. Delays cost nothing extra.
Booking for children at school
Many families in and around Oxshott have children at boarding and day schools nearby, and some book transfers for children travelling alone. If you are booking for a child, put their name and a contact mobile on the booking, and add a note about any arrangements with the school or the airline's unaccompanied minor service. The driver will meet them at the agreed point with a name board.
What to tell us when you book
Your flight number and terminal, the full address with postcode, any gate code, the number of passengers and cases, and any golf clubs or bulky items. If you want to stop on the way, add it as a stop and the fixed price includes it.
