On a clear road, the drive takes an hour and ten to twenty minutes. For early flights, the roads are quiet and the trip is quicker.

Train and coach options

Since January 2026, every entry to a Heathrow terminal drop-off zone has cost £7, with a ten-minute limit enforced by cameras.
